Your privacy
Privacy
- No accounts, no ads, no tracking cookies.
- The contact form. What you type (your name, email and message) is sent by email to the site's maintainer through Cloudflare, which runs the form and its spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile). It isn't published or stored on this site. Turnstile checks technical signals from your browser to tell people from bots; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Quiz and survey. If you send in the quiz or the survey, we keep your answers and the date (not the time). For the survey we also keep the details you choose to give: age range, whether you're a student, parent, teacher or other, country, province or state, the first part of your postal code, and the type of school. We never ask for your name, email address or school name, and we don't keep your IP address. There are no cookies or visitor IDs, and quiz answers and survey answers are stored separately, with no link between them. Because nothing ties an answer to a person, we can't look up or delete one person's answers. Answers are stored in the site's database, hosted by OpenAI, and used only to understand what visitors know about vaping and to improve the site. Anything we share will be totals only. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not a bot, is sending them. The survey is for ages 13 and up.
- Hosting. The site is hosted by OpenAI and served through Cloudflare. Like any web host, they process basic technical information, such as your IP address and the pages you request, to deliver and protect the site, and the host may keep basic visit statistics.
- Videos. Videos on the Watch page come from YouTube. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press Play, and then it uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). After you press Play, YouTube's privacy policy applies.
